O’Reilly Media is reorganized a couple of weeks ago. And, one of the changes is that the DigitalMedia.OReilly.com content is being folded into their mail web site. As part of that change, the editor of the site was layed off. And, bloggers like me are no longer contracted. You can find my final Mac blog item posted on January 28, 2009 at…
I’ll still post to the main O’Reilly blog area from time to time as the mood strikes me. But, I thought this would be a good time to relaunch my own dormant personal Mac blog (this one) since I still want to share some information and opinions about Macs and other Apple related technology.
The blogs items I posted on the O’Reilly Mac blog site tended to be long form one. They were often very similar to what once might have been considered a review article. Even the the blogs were only a few hundred words long, they work behind them often took many hours spread over several days. The items posted here will be much shorter but, I hope, more frequently than once a week.
If the urge strikes me, I might post a long form article here now and then. However, I’m more likely to post a series of items about something rather than write one long piece. For example, like many other people, I just bought iLife ’09 yesterday. So, I’ll probably post a number of items about that here. I’m also planning to install MacSpeech Dictate this weekend. So, that might be a recurring topic here too.
If you found the information I wrote for O’Reilly DigitalMedia useful and/or interestng, I hope you will find this continuation of that writing here useful too.
If you have any Mac apps or hardware peripherals you think I should take a look at and evaluate, please let me know about it by posting a comment here, sending me email at Todd(AT-SIGN)MacsAndStuff.com, or tweeting me on Twitter at toddogasawara.
And, if you are interested in advertising Mac-related products here, please let me know!
